UprAsia Founders Education Program Cohort 3 Started
After two successful cohorts in 2019, the workshop on 12th February 2020 kicked off the commencement of the third cohort of UprAsia program. UprAsia program is a free education program designed to prepare Australian healthtech startup founders and executives for successful entry into Asian, especially Chinese markets. The program includes 8 free weekly workshops in Melbourne and a visit to the market at the end of the workshops.
15 participants from 11 healthtech companies enrolled in the cohort 3 program. The weekly workshops will cover a wide range of topics in relation to Asian health markets, including business and consumer culture, pitching to Asian investors, registration and regulatory issues, IP protection and capital raising. Special international experts in various sectors will be engaged in the workshops and participating startups will also have opportunities to have one-on-one consultation with these experts. There will be an optional trip to Chinese market at the end of the program to connect to potential partners and investors.
UprAsia is initiated by Australia China Health Accelerator, and proudly supported by LaunchVic, Eureka Technology Innovation and Investment and BioMelbourne Network. Please visit the UprAsia website for more details of the program.
